Vînători-Neamţ Commune is located in the north of Neamţ County, at the border of Suceava County, on the river Neamţ shore. The commune is divided by the national road DN15B which links the city Târgu Neamţ with the lake Izvorul Muntelui. From DN15B, the county road DJ155C splits near the village Nemţişor and it stops near Neamţ Monastery. In Vînâtori-Neamţ commune it exists the Reservation of bison-Neamţ, which is a protected wild area. The commune of Vînători-Neamţ administrates 4 villages: Lunca, Mânăstirea Neamț, Nemțisor and Vînători-Neamț. According with the statistics from 2011, the population of the commune totalize 7.595 inhabitants, in decrease from the last statistics of 2002, when it registered 8.825 inhabitants.
The Territorial Administrative Unit of Vînători-Neamț Commune (Neamț County) has implemented different projects with the purpose to develop and increase the population level of living. The most important projects which reflect the local administration experience in managing educational and human resources projects are:

In the project “Socio-educational centres in Cumpăna Commune (Constanţa County), Vînători-Neamţ Commune (Neamţ County) and Prundeni Commune (Vâlcea County)”, the Territorial Administrative Unit of Vînători-Neamț (Neamţ County) has the quality of Partner along with the Territorial Administrative Unit of Prundeni Commune (Vâlcea County) and the Association of Community Development Cumpăna (Constanţa County) with specific responsibilities.
