The social projects implemented by the Territorial Administrative Unit of Cumpăna Commune were implemented in partnership with the Association of Community Development Cumpăna – an NGO’s establish on 10.04.2007, with the purpose to develop and sustain the local community. The association has 29 members, from which 23 are active members, representing the local institutions: The Town Hall, the Local Council, the school, the church, the kindergarten, the medical offices, the Police and the citizens.
According with the status of the organization, the main activities of the Association of Community Development Cumpăna (Constanţa County) are:
- to improve the education’s quality;
- to improve the health and medical services;
- to sustain the church;
- to encourage and to sustain the activity of the local SME’s;
- to sustain the community members to actively participate to the development of the commune;
- to attract financial resources;
- to promote the social inclusion of people with Roma people;
- to provide social and socio-medical services;
The most important projects implemented in partnership with the Territorial Administrative Unit of Cumpăna Commune are:
„Integrated project: Modernization and rehabilitation of roads, drain system, the first establishment of a carry centre for children on after school system, the renovation and modernization of a cultural centre, Cumpăna Commune, Constanţa County”

In the project “Socio-educational centres in Cumpăna Commune (Constanţa County), Vînători-Neamţ Commune (Neamţ County) and Prundeni Commune (Vâlcea County)”, the Association of Community Development Cumpăna (Constanţa County) has the quality of Partner along with the Territorial Administrative Unit of Vînători-Neamț Commune (Neamţ County) and the Territorial Administrative Unit of Prundeni (Vâlcea County) with specific responsibilities.
